Who I am
DasteRoad is 30, Italian and female. Also PhD and all-around science nerd.
Currently she lives in Italy with her significant other and a frolicking colony of freeloading dust-bunnies, and has a day job in the field of metallurgical engineering. What she actually aims to is still, of course, world domination (muh-ahaha!). The main reason behind her failures is repeated warping of the laws of physics by Evil Gnomes (or so she claims).
DasteRoad is a writer and an artist working on self-publishing. She can play the electric guitar and has been part of a rock band. She enjoys reading books and comics, playing computer games, dabbling in fanart and fanfiction, listening to rock music and taking pictures. This tumblr, previously her writing-focused blog, is now mainly used as the place for collecting/sharing stuff she likes, random musings, art and writing snippets, shameless self-promotion and mindlessly fangirling about a certain gaslamp fantasy webcomic.
