PoB - Almost done with rebuilding, and OMG ARTS
Despite appearances, I am still getting actual work done on the PoB revision. It’s just kind of hard to assess progress at this stage, and I can’t get into much detail without risking spoilers, so I don’t aim at posting frequently, at least for the moment. I’m almost done with the Rebuilding phase: between today and tomorrow I should be ready to jump into Replotting and Recasting, which I’ll be doing at the same time given that they’re strictly interconnected.
These days I’ve also gone back to my graphic tablet, and -GASP!- started drawing again, posting results on my deviantART page, after over 3 years of hiatus. Here can be found my first few sketches for PoB. It will take me a while to get back into shape and find a new style after all this time, but I must say it feels really good to be back. I was worried that both adding another hobby to take care of and going back to an online creative community would have turned into another time sink. Instead, having drawing as a different creative outlet than writing is doing wonders for both activities, keeping me focused and helping me manage my time. Also, being back to my old pals on deviantART is doing exactly what being part of a community should be doing: it motivates me, spurring my creativity and enthusiasm. So yay for me :D
I also have a public twitter account now, in case someone were interested in incredibly fascinating web 2.0 things like knowing real time when I’m writing, drawing, colouring or doing the laundry.
